Sunrise Festival Dance Stage

Electronic dance promoters Tribe of Frog & Archangel ask True Sound Hire to supply sound for their tent at the Sunrise festival in Yeovil taking place from Thursday 29th May until Sunday 1st June 2008. 

Now before we go into detail some of you may have heard about the 2008 Sunrise festival nick named ‘’Rainrise’’ which was all over the BBC news due to the worst floods Yeovil had seen in the last 20 years….. and we were there. 

Before the whole festival site was shutdown the night before it was meant to open due to the flooding we were one of only two PA companies that still got our sound systems rigged and running for a one off party for all the crew and workers of the festival. 

We installed 8x Opus SB218 bass cabinets, 4x Opus SB215 bass cabinets 6x Opus CS750 midtops and 4x Opus MP400 infills all running off 250kgs of Opus HD series amplifiers. 
It was a great shame that only 24 hours later the Opus system was packed back down and loaded back into the truck.

It would have been a pleasure to continue but there were no other options available to the Sunrise promoters or us.
