Portugal TV Awards

True Sound Hire gets called in to supply the PA Sound, Lighting, AV and Staging systems for the Portugal charity TV awards in London at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge hotel situated beside Battersea Park and the River Thames.

After speaking with Gabriel (Project Manager) it become clear that time was not on our side with only 7 hours to load the equipment in, setup, sound check then line check with the TV crew and be ready for a 14:00 start. 

The FOH sound system was taken care of by a Void Arcline 6 & X PA system flown from two windup stands with just one Void Arcline X sub hidden away by the staging all powered and controller via a small rack of Powersoft K8 & K6 poweramps and a XTA 226 system controller.

Five ways of Sennheiser EW 500-945 G3 were used thoughout the night along with a number of mics from our range of Shure Beta series microphones.  

We supplied a number of LED Par64, Par56 cans to uplight the venue and provide lighting for the acts presenters. Six Martin DC1 lighting effects were also placed around on the walls and floors which added colour and depth to the venue's room.
