Hale Carnival Farnham Surrey

True Sound Hire supply Surrey’s Hale Carnival with a complete sound and lighting package for their annual carnival held on the village green in Upper Hale, Farnham, Surrey.  

The Upper Hale Carnival was held on 2nd July where we supplied them a complete Live Band PA System & LED Lighting Package which consisted of four d&b C7 subs, two d&b C7 tops, four d&b E9 stage monitors & four d&b D12 power amps. A 16 channel Presonus digital mixing desk was also installed giving their sound engineers all the flexibly they needed.  

The LED lighting was made up of 12x LEDj Par 64’s on lighting t-bars across the fron tof the stage……  
We also supplied a separate announcement sound system set up for the commentary which ran throughout the day to announce the line up and safety briefings etc.  

It was what we refer to as a wet hire so we weren’t needed to stay throughout the day to monitor the system. Once we made sure the sound engineers were more than confident using the PA system we did a sound check & left to return later on in the day to pack up at the end of the carnival.  

Throughout the day there were different acts including live bands, comedians and solo artists volunteering their services to support the local community. Not only was there various entertainment but also fun activities for all age groups to enjoy such as a fun fair, donkey rides, game stalls & fireworks display at the end of night which we were lucky enough to see & enjoy.

The event was a great success plus the weather was fabulous.
We acquired fantastic feedback from the organisers and the bands & have also been asked to return next year for the 2012 Upper Hale Carnival !
