The Old Firestation

True Sound Hire packs the truck and heads down to the Old Firestation in Bournemouth, Dorset for a night of Hardcore, Hardhouse, and Trance.
Its 10:00 in the morning and we had just finished packing up the kit from Hardcore Revelation @ Club ice in Westbury that night. We now a 2 hour drive ahead of us and time is ticking away as we have another 3 rooms to kit out with sound and laser systems for the ‘’Resistance vs Ravers Are’’ event.
Having worked with ‘’Resistance’’ promoter Gary Bennett in the past he came to us and asked us to supply him with four PA systems and a large laser system for his event at the Old Firestation.
The main room at the Old Firestation already has a flown d&b Audio C4 sound system installed but lacks the bottom end that Gary was after. We decided to install 8x EM Quake subs placed in a centre block mono summed via the XTA and powered off a single FFA10000 power amp, we also placed a number of JBL SRX712 as infills around the stage powered off a Powersoft K6.
The main room was also treated to a state of the art PC controlled 4000mw green laser system where we were able to project the ‘’Resistance vs Ravers Are’’ logo around the room along with DJ & MC’s names of the night.
Room 2 saw four stacks of d&b C7, a pair of high power DJ monitors along with a full Pioneer CDJ set-up. Whilst room 3 was taken care of by two stacks of JBL SRX again with an another full Pioneer DJ set-up.
Lots of great feedback from Gary and his team and we look forward to returning in the future for their next event.
