Avenue Conference Center London

True Sound Hire is called in to supply a complete turnkey solution for a corporate event at the Avenue conference center, Holiday Inn on 58 Regents park road in London.

We were given the task of transforming the Avenue conference centre into a vibrant MTV sweet 16-style birthday party for a Jewish bar mitzvah (13years old).

The venue would be a blank canvas when we arrived so it really was up to us to create an atmosphere fit for a pop star.
It took over 2 months of hard work and planning to put this event together but after many phone calls and lots of meetings we achieved what we set out to do…. A stunning production to the clients specific requirements.



We supplied & fitted:
22ft x 22ft white LED starlit dance floor
Ten Martin MAC250 moving heads
Over 10 meters of Thomas pixel line 1044
A complete box truss lighting system 
Designed and installed synchronised pyrotechnics show
Two flown 60 Inch LCD screens 
Yamaha LS9 32 digital mixing desk
Avolites lighting desk with engineer 
Fitted a 3phase 125amp power distribution system for the sound, lighting and stage power
Supplied a 15kw Void Arcline sound system
All of the Backline for the French band who were booked to play and had the visual’s custom made for us by a freelance VJ….

Our first goal was to build the stage. Once this was set up we had it covered in a white carpet then draped with white LED star cloth while we installed the sound and our lighting engineer got on with programming the fixtures.

We had some last minute changes with the lighting which lead to a snowball effect, but luckily due to the skill and expertise of our engineers this was easily altered and we have had nothing but fantastic comments from everybody at the event.
