d&b Audiotechnik J series Line Array Package

Last but not least and if you’re looking at this you probably already know what you’re looking at.

If you don’t we will do our best to explain just what d&b J series is and how remarkable it is. So 1981 d&b Audiotechnik was formed by Jürgen Daubert and Rolf Belz and within a few years took the pro audio world by storm ! We had F, C & then Q series but then in 2012 the d&b J series came along and became one of the rider friendly speaker systems on the face of this planet. This package doesn’t even start to explain what is possible with J boxes but hopefully it will give you some idea of what we can supply and offer your festival or tour. On the d&b website it says ”J series has transparent, detailed audio performance, extraordinarily smooth and even frequency response, dynamic bandwidth and high power and headroom capability” That line just sums it up, 100% nail on the head but if you don’t believe us your need to hear it just once.

J Series Line Array Example Details

The example package is best suited to larger festival or 5000 plus or arena tours where no compromise is acceptable and all & any riders must be fulfilled & met Just like the smaller V series the J line array cabinets are available for hire in two different models -J8 and J12 – J8 is 80° & J12 is 120° again respectively, maintained down to below 200 Hz. The line array cabinets deal with the mid range while all your bottom end power is given to you by the mighty J sub and J infra sub (J-Sub offers cardioid or hyper cardioid performance to avoid unwanted energy behind the stage, very similar setup to the d&b Q-sub setup using it in CSA mode)

For your everyday show or tour J-Subs offer more than enough low end power but for those wanting to push things just that little more and extend the frequency response that bit more the J-infra does the trick. (loaded with three 21″ drivers it should ! Both the J8 & J12 are fitted with 2 x 12″ LF drivers, one horn loaded 10″ MF driver and two 1.4″ high-end comps mix this with some of the finest German engineering you have ever seen and you have magic. This system is not available as a ”dry hire” system for many reasons but what it does come with is racks of the newest d&b D80 power amp & again a system tech who knows the system inside out. Slightly smaller and larger J systems are available so please feel free to contact us with your requirements. There isn’t much we don’t stock when it comes to sound equipment and although we aren’t the cheapest speaker hire company in the UK we do have a reputation of delivering to the very highest of standards & that beats price any day.
