The Sound & Light Hire Company is one of the leading suppliers of wireless headset and handheld radio microphone and PA systems across the theatre, presentation and conference industries.
We stock a comprehensive range of handheld, lapel and headset radio microphone systems. All they available for hire right across Guildford, Surrey, Hampshire and London. We can supply various types of radio mic systems, including popular systems such as the Sennheiser 300-500 series, Shure ULX 4 UHF-R.

Two of our most popular radio mic systems are the:
Sennheiser XSW35 E Wireless Vocal set for £20.00 ex VAT per day
Shure ULX with SM58 head £35.00 ex VAT
All radio mics come flight cased complete with either 9V or AA batteries and include the microphone clip. Mic stands can be added for an additional cost of £3.50 ex VAT per stand. We make sure we keep our pricing fair and competitive. Although some hire companies offer very cheap wireless radio mics. Our radio mics are of a very high standard and aren’t cheap imports from abroad.
We have some ”turnkey” conference packages for hire. These packages include the radio mic system and the speaker system. Also, we have all in one complete and easy to operate packages. These hire packages start from as little as £100.00 ex VAT.
If you are a school and you are looking to hire more than 8 ways of radio mic please send us an email. Please state the production dates including any setup or rehearsals. *Please note that all of our wireless radio microphones operate on what’s known as channel 38. Channel 38 is the latest frequency band for all radio mics made after 2012 and these operate between 606-642 MHz.
