PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
d&b J-12 Speaker Hire
The J-12 is a 3-way line array loudspeaker manufactured by d&b audiotechnik. It is part of the J-Series, and is designed for medium-to-large format events which require widespread sound coverage. The unit comprises of 2x 12″LF drivers, one hornloaded 10″ MF driver and two 1.4″ exit HF compression drivers with 3″ voicecoils mounted to a dedicated waveshaping device.
Up to 24 cabinets can be suspended using vertical splay angles between them of 0-7 degrees with a 1-degree resolution. The J-12 can be used in conjunction with J-SUB or J-8 cabinets, and is driven by either a D12 amplifier (1 cabinet per amp) or D80 amplifier (2 cabinets per amp).
To say that this unit has exceptional sound quality would be an understatement. The J-12 boasts incredible clarity whilst providing a very high SPL output of up to 143dB. The J-12 can either be flown or ground-stacked on top of a J-SUB.
