Like many events this year, Halloween is going to be very different. Traditional trick-or-treating might be off the menu, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy a ghoulish celebration to add a bit of cheer to – let’s face it – one of the most miserable years in recent memory.

How to Construct Your Halloween Party?
Given current restrictions, it goes without saying that the party might be a bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean it has to be any less fun. There are absolutely LOADS of ways you can have a great party without having large crowds gathering at your home. If you’re wondering how, we’re glad you asked, as we’ve got more than a few ideas for you.
Firstly, it’s more than likely that you’re going to need the help of video conferencing software so you can call up your friends. Most of us have gotten pretty used to Zoom or Microsoft Teams these days, whether it’s for a weekly quiz night or work purposes. So it makes sense to incorporate it into your party.
You could do awards for best-dressed and pump up the music for your virtual attendees to bop along to. If you really want to get into the spirit, you could take it in turns to tell virtual ghost stories to each other!
If you’re taking your party out into the back garden, you could decorate your lawn or garden area with tombstones and other spooky props for your little ones to navigate and collect prizes and treats along the way. Creating this setup would be an excellent alternative way to celebrate Halloween as a family if you happen to live in a location that is currently severely affected by the virus, and face-to-face events are not a possibility.
